A fun and versatile social dance that works with the music you like. Stage tango may be known for its dramatic styling and complex footwork, but social tango is much more approachable. Come along and try it for yourself!
Graham teaches using a modern style that concentrates on understanding the technique of tango rather than learning sequences of steps. The tango itself is the same as you will find at any class, but the music and the approach may be quite different to what you have seen before. And if you are new to tango then our relaxed and welcoming classes are an ideal introduction.
One-to-one sessions are available at our dance studio in Biggin Hill.
See the Private Classes page for more details.
Our regular weekly classes run from 20:00 - 22:00 and are all drop-in, with no courses to book or specific days that you have to start. They are suitable for any age (from 18 upwards) and any fitness level, with any dance experience or none at all.
Class entry is usually £12 per person, but if you pay for a block of classes in advance you get five class nights for the price of four.

Tuesdays are one of the highlights of the week now I have tango. The classes are serious fun, in that learning to tango is an art and more complicated than many dances but the teaching makes it accessible and we always have a laugh. It's a lovely atmosphere and a great escape from the working week to just get absorbed in dancing and good music.
The teaching is inclusive so whether you are a beginner or an experienced dancer you'll learn new things and feel like you are making progress.
It's a good value class, plenty of individual tuition and time to dance and practice at the end.
